My wife and I are proud to have lived in our local area for over 25 years and raised our children here.
As a local school-based police officer, I speak with locals in Nicklin every day through my work, and in various volunteer roles, and I see first-hand the way our community is hurting under this tired Labor Government.
As a former Member of Parliament, I know our community deserves better.
I am proud to have delivered funding for a new police station in Nambour, working with the Federal Government to deliver a partnership project that saw the major redevelopments on Nambour Connection Road entry to the Bruce Highway and funding for upgrades to Nambour hospital to improve our local health services.
I know more needs to be done.
We need to make housing accessible and affordable; we need a government that will improve access to health services, we have to act to make our communities safter and we must take the pressure off local families who are struggling with the rising costs of living.
Over the coming months I look forward to listening to and working with residents in our local area to develop tangible, long-term solutions to improve and enhance the things we love about our part of the Sunshine Coast and work with David Crisafulli and the LNP team to deliver the change we need.
